Emerging Countries Seminar

Dear you All,

We are all back !!

Rio, Delhi, Shangai : we had to choose out of these 3 great destinations.

Each of us according to its own agenda.

But now, back home, we could share the experience of the other groups, and to say the least, all were different but SO good !

We won't illustrate all the seminars with millions of photos (some of us really pushed the limits of their memory cards ;-) but to summarize all in one, please find the final @ the Shangai one, where we had this little German song to thanks our organiser host, for the fantastic job he did for us during this fascinanting week !

MBA Annual reunion 2007: Back in Business ... Back at School !

That's it, summer break is long over and we are back in our tracks (for the weeklys we finished with corporate finance !)

The Mba annual reunion was the chance for us to meet our predecessors from the earlier classes.

It was also the chance to listen to our favourite economic professor, Dr Gougon, in the presentation of the NEW ENERGY AGE, a thrilling subject about the challenges of the world energy !

After the presentation, we had the cocktail which gives us the unique chance to meet the others (from 1997 to 2009 : yes, there were some future students there !)

THE POWER EFFECT of Global teams ... in Madrid or anywhere

July, July , July ... this sounds like a promised summer ! School holidays are coming : Full tracks are, as their courses ended. Monthly tracks also, as Madrid was the last course before long. And we -weekly- will have our last thursday course this week. The Madrid elective was so great, we had a fantastic time with this elective "creating global teams" in a look like Club Med Campus (the swimming pool effect, even if we couldn't use it). But still, we worked hard & well in this atmosphere !

we had such a great time in town & we really created a global team !! this is for sure !!

Our School is acting Green ! In today's world, acting green is seeding for the future. We are not yet a "green school" but ESCP-EAP is willing to follow some good green practices that do not alter the quality of its service towards us students, and give us the chance to meet some simple (but always) efficient maners to help our planet to be greener for us & the next generations ! Go for sustainable developpement and green learning ;-)

Financial Analysis Elective in London (ROI concept)

As an introduction to Financial Analysis, we started with a break at the Famous "PRET A MANGER" the one mentionned in the Strategic book ! As a "guide", i was pleased to succesfully introduce our little team to this ! Though, logistic as to be improved, especially when we talk about "friday after courses"! Of course we cannot all move together (remenber the concept of agility when it comes to economics & strategy) but on friday nigth we missed to build up a quite large team (diff tracks) in Portobello Road (part 1 of the team was stuck in a metro breakdown ! sorry for those who reached Notting hill gate without knowing were to go ! i promose you (monthly guys) not to loose you anymore ;-) Now, let's talk about the elective itself, we'll take time to explain to our fellows the clash we had, but the prof cleverly did its mea culpa and we have to salute this brave move! Talking about the content, quite a large number of us, LOVED this elective ! yes, we loved finance analysis ! Dinners and themes

Hi every one (weekly, monthly,yearly...) weekly : next wednesday, drink session after strategy Friday the 27th : we thought it could be good for us to meet friday evenning and exchange about our ICP. The idea : everyone has 10 mn to present its project , then we exchange on it for 15/20mn..then, next one ! Volunteers ? Place ? Following dinners/drinks : a few of us are ok to make a pres about our job/sector, not only how it works in theory (trends) but also what s really going on (let's avoid the customized pres for clients...). 2Omn pers + maybe thirty mn q&a two options according to group size : - at the place of one of us (i can get 15 people in correct and very unconforatble conditions..maybe 40 when it comes to partying) - in a restaurant/café, altought it can be pretty noisy i guess. So call for : volunteers for themes and places suggestions of dates nathalie

Hello Brussels !

In April, we're going to meet in Brussels ....

By sharing our schedules, it could be easier to find our way to the hotel on Monday !

Some of us are planning to travel by train from Paris on Monday morning :

Paris 9.25am to Brussels 10.47am (Thalys n.9319), so let's meet at the head of the train.

On Thrusday, several possibilities to go back to Paris:

• 4.47pm / 6.05pm (Thalys n.9344)
• 5.43pm / 7.05pm (Thalys n.9348)
